Rabbi Benzion and Mrs. Chanowitz direct Chabad of Monticello, since they moved in 1994 together. Rabbi Chanowitz's knowledge and Chassidic warmth have maintained Chabad of Monticello over the last two decades actively working in full gear, even during the winter months when the community is significantly smaller .
Rabbi Chanowitz also has extensive knowledge in the Kashrus industry and travels cross country to supervise and inspect for Kosher supervision agencies
